Shark Fanatic’s introductory T is a nod to the greatest shark to ever swim the earth’s oceans – the Megalodon. This image captures the first reconstruction of this monster’s jaw by the American Museum of Natural History in 1909. It is estimated that an adult Meg’s jaws were easily big enough to swallow two adult people side-by-side. They were lined with 276 piercing teeth, and scientists believe that its bite force may have been one of the most powerful ever to have existed.
